Texas Is Anybody's Game...
In the newest exclusive KTRK-SurveyUSA polling data, released today at noon eastern...
Barack Obama leads Hillary Clinton by LESS THAN A POINT.
After losing significant ground to Obama between the first and second polls, Clinton has rebounded.
Clinton's biggest gains were with voters ages 35-49. She is now even, whereas she trailed by 18 points just a week ago.
She also leads Obama among Hispanics 2 to 1.
The poll is from 2000 state of Texas adults interviewed between 3/1 and 3/2. Of them 1766 were registered to vote. Of them, 840 had already voted...among them Clinton leads 50% to 48%. Margin of error is 3.5% plus or minus.
Obama 49%
Clinton 48%
Other 2%
Undecided 2%
Remember this does not include the number who will caucus...which decides 1/3 of the awarded delegates.
So it's unclear whether Clinton will secure enough the delegates to stay in the race, or whether Obama will win enough to demoralize the Clinton camp.
On the GOP side...
John McCain has a big lead over Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul.
McCain 53%
Huckabee 36%
Paul 5%
Other 3%
Undecided 3%
This sample was from among 2000 Texas adults between 3/1 and 3/2. 1755 were registered voters. 466 had already voted or were likely to vote Tuesday.
The margin of error is 4.6% plus or minus.
Thanks for reading. TA

Hillary Clinton permanently alienated me one January morning immediately after Bill took office. I had always attended the March For Life in Washington. All presidents since 1973, (even Jimmy Carter, no pro-lifer himself) had sent at least a respectful statement acknowledging the marchers' convictions, and their endurance for braving January weather year after year to commemorate lives lost.
Hillary and Bill chose instead to mark the occasion by attending a NARAL event, and ceremoniously signing into law a flood of U.S. funds to pay for abortions overseas. With a triumphant flourish of the pen, Bill Clinton signed the death warrant for millions of innocent, unborn children, that very day.
The timing and their rhetoric was so "in your face" and gleeful, that I was shocked. It was the most unstatesman-like behavior I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. Clinton had just taken office; he was now the president of ALL Americans--yet he and his wife chose to publicly scorn the hundreds of thousands of us quietly marching, that day. For those who cannot stand Hillary--there is history of her own making, and good reason...

We know pretty much what Hillary Clinton will be like as President. If you are looking for someone to not forget you after this election, you best stick with Hillary. Who knows which group Obama will cater to. He will owe black America so much for getting him elected that they will NOT let him forget for one minute. Plus his other groups -college educated upper class young professionals making over $100,000 a year. Hillary has a resume full of what she has done for children, health care, human rights, women's rights. I defy you to name one thing Obama has accomplished. Obama, working on the streets of Chicago (with a law degree) and being in the Illinois State Senate hardly prepares you to be President of the US. Obama is an unknown quantity. He has ties to some very questionable people. I hope you will be persuaded to vote for Hillary Clinton.
