In Aggieland

We are here in College Station awaiting this afternoon's events, the primary one involving two Presidents.

This afternoon at Rudder Auditorium on the Texas A&M campus, Presidents Bush (41) and Obama will honor each others commitment to service and the 20th anniversary of the Points of Light Foundation.

Rudder Auditorium

Rudder seats about 2500 people.  600 of the seats went to A&M students.  The rest are invitees.  No public availability.

There are scheduled protests here on campus by outside groups.  They have an area designated on campus that assures the Presidents won't see or hear them.

President Bush did send a letter to the Aggie community asking for civility and respect.  You can read the letter here.

Thanks for reading.  TA
